This week being the cameraman I made a list of camera positions that I would be in, and have taken pictures of some of the shots that I would take during live day, which got me to understand more about what shots to actually take when filming the show.
When making the list of camera positions I was told that I did not put anything about the area where one of the hosts were talking about all of the celebrity gossip, so I needed to change that before next production meeting,
I was told by sir that I still need to take a picture of the desk where Faris will be talking about all of the celebrity gossip that I am going to film, so those are the only pictures left that I have not put on my blog.
When it comes to working with the other two camera operators, if i'm being honest at the time they were not that helpful but now they are helpful and I manage to finish all work despite that matter.
Next week I am planning to learn more about the camera positions that I would be in the studio on live day.

weekly production log - 2
Me,Asad and Ismail all separately made a list of camera positions that we would be in. I talked to the other two camera operator, Asad and Ismail and they mainly told me that the only equipment my camera would be using would be the camera and the tripod, and my camera would be mainly focusing on the area where the presenter Jamain would be interviewing the guest, but I was also told that it might be changed and halfway through I might need to move my camera to be able to film the other presenters area where Faris would be talking about all of the celebrity gossip, but I would still need to confirm with Daniel to see if that is correct since he did not give me all of the details of if I would have to move the camera halfway through the show.
I took multiple pictures of the areas I would film and all of the equipment that would be used for live day, such as the track, the wires, the plug, the broken wire and all three tripods.

Production Meeting Reflection - 2
In the production meeting the other two people that were camera operators were not in to do talk in the meeting so I had to talk about the work that I have done.
I mainly talked about all of the possible risks that I have put in my risk assessment form, such as making sure people don't trip over wires on live day, which is likely to happen but wires could be taped down and make people aware of where the wires are. People could trip over track, and accidentally electrocuting yourself with the wires.
Due to it being Ramadan at the time people will also have to be in a hot room, people would need water so they could go outside the room quickly and splash water on their face, but if people do have water they have to keep it away from the equipment, so they don't break it.
After I was talking I did not get any responses from anyone else in the room since I explained everything so there was nothing to add on, and there was nothing that I think I would need to improve on since I got no criticism of what I was saying.
This week has been very good since I got to know all of the risks that could happen and all of the equipment that we have to use, but I think I need to know more on how exactly we use all the equipment on live day.
In the future I was planning to get to know what exact location I would be when it comes to live day, and what area I would be using the camera to film.
When it came to talking to others, everyone talked clearly and confidently in the production meeting and I got to know a lot about what everyone has done and what they going to do in the future, which got me to know how the production day will go, which was very useful.

Weekly Production Log 1
This week we all discussed about live day, and we talked about the idea for the show that we were using, which was a mix of everyone's ideas, but mainly Jheevan's, which we all discussed about in a production meeting we had the week before. We also got to know what roles we had and I got chosen to be one of the three camera operators, along with Asad and Ismail, which meant we all had to go into the next classroom to see all of the equipment we use on live day.We all got to see what would be very risky to use when being camera operators on live day, such as when using the dolly we should make sure that we don't trip over it when moving it, personally i know this since I actually almost tripped over it when using it.
There are many risks that can occur when using the cameras on live day, such as accidentally tripping over the wires, and electrocuting yourself when removing wires from the wall, which explains why it has a "elecheck" warning on it.
Due to all of the risks that could happen, I made a risk assessment form explaining all of the risks and if they are likely to happen, and how I would be able to avoid the risk from happening.
Last thing was another production meeting, which unfortunately the other two camera operators were not there to talk. In the meeting we were talking about everything we have to do in the future and what we have already done for the work, which went very well.

Make sure everyone is aware of where the
wires are, in case anyone trips over; also have some in the camera operator’s
pockets to avoid accidents.
Make sure the camera is held carefully with
tripod and make sure that it does not fall and harm anyone.
When dealing with wires, make sure all
wires are placed carefully to avoid any electrical shock
When holding the dolly, make sure that no
one slips over it by carefully keep watch and make sure no one’s feet trip
over it.
Make sure equipment is help carefully, and
no equipment is accidently dropped and harm anyone around you
When holding the track, it is very easy to
accidently hit someone, so you should always be aware about your surroundings
when you hold the track
In case anyone has any water, we will make
sure that it does not touch any equipment and break it (example, avoid having
cameras close to water)
While moving, holding the camera, be aware
of who is around you so you don’t possibly bump into them
Due to it being Ramadan and having it being
a hot day, people will be fasting so you could have them go outside at times
and have water put on their face instead of drinking it.
In case it seems that the camera might
overheat, check every10 minutes to see if it is in good condition and wont
overheat

Production Meeting Reflection 1
The
production meeting went very well, everyone gave their ideas clearly and
confidently with no interruptions, and we all gave feedback and questions right
after everyone gave their ideas. With my idea I had many people telling me that
I could have explained the set more and they liked the idea that I came up
with, having every question being sent by fans through video. People really
liked how my idea was very unique, and stood out from others; Sir even told me
that he liked my idea. I voted for Matthews idea since I really liked the idea
of how he created his own made up device called the “why metre” which really
made it stand out from others, and I liked how he added humor to the show by
making it more of a mix of comedy and competition, which you don’t really see
that often.
Mathew’s
idea stuck to the brief by making it a perfect show for 14-20 year olds, since most
of them would like to see shows that are more on the humorous side when it
comes to music, and it has many parts of the idea that would make the show last
30 minutes.
With
his idea, I think he needs to explain more about the host, and how exactly the
whole set will look like, so we can get a better idea if we actually make the
show.
When
it comes to the final idea, I think that there could be many aspects by
different people’s ideas that could be put into the final show, such as having
a lip-sync battle, having questions sent by fans, dance competitions, and also
having news/gossip about music artists, to make the show appeal to the audience
we are aiming at.

Multi Camera Pitch Treatment
PROGRAMME FORMAT:This will be a magazine show and a chat show, with some games included. A variety of inspirational musicians from around the world are interviewed, and they tell the presenters upcoming events and songs, and how they came up with the idea for the inspirational music they artists made. The show will show all the information about what is happening with some artists, how some are doing on tour and how some are doing on the charts. While interviewing the guests, there will be questions by fans sent through video and there will be 2 guests that will be performing a song each right after their interviews, which will be pre-recorded. They will talk about their music videos and how they think it did. and then show their music video, and there will be special guests throughout the show, such as other actors that were in the music video and they will show how it did on YouTube and social media (look at people talking about the video online).
TITLE:
I chose the name"Music Of Charisma" to be the name of the show mainly because they talk about artists with music that inspire others.
CONTENT IDEAS:
Magazine Show Section: artists talk about how they are doing on tours and with future projects, and information is given about how some music videos are doing around the world and music videos will be shown in parts of the show.
Concert Element: After each interview, the guest will be performing a song acoustically, but it will be pre-recorded.
RUNNING ORDER:
00:00-00:30
This time would be an intro for the show.
00:30-02:00
At this time the show will start with the presenter talking to the camera, welcoming the viewer watching, and will say what is on the show.
02:00-5:30
This time the presenter will be welcoming one of the first guests and then talk about the latest music video that the artist have made and how they came up with the idea for it.
05:30-08:05
At this time the presenter will be showing the music video that was made by the guest that is being interviewed.
I chose the music video made by Asad and Ismail since it is a very artistic music video that seems very inspirational, which fits with the theme my show is focusing on.
08:05-09:30
When the music video is finished they both be talking about how well the music video did, and shows some questions sent by fans through video. The artist will talk about all of the people that were in the music video and how much effort they put into it, straight after the host talks for a few seconds and then cuts to the first break which will be 3 minutes long.
09:30-13:30
We play a game called "meaning catcher" where the artist will have to look at a music video muted, and guess what the lyrics/meaning is.
13:30-16:00
Ad Break
16:00-20:00
When it gets back to the show there is a performance of the artist singing the song acoustically
20:00-21:30
When the artist finishes the performance we move to the next guest which is mentioned as a huge star enters the stage and then talks about their upcoming music video. The artist discusses with the presenter about how long it took to make the music video and what made them come up with the idea for the music video.
21:30-25:13
At this time we show the artists music video which will take 03:43.
I chose the music video made by Faris and Stephen because it by just watching it, people at the same age group can relate to the situation, and it seems with all of the creative camerawork used, and the meaning behind the song can inspire others, which fits with the theme by show is focusing on.
25:13-29:00
We the final guest of the show will be interviewed and will will talk about how the artists music video is doing on YouTube, and see if it was successful or not. While interviewing the artist, we show questions people send through social media. We will talk about how they were doing on tour and how they were doing in the charts.
29:00-30:00
At this time we will have the presenter going to the camera and saying goodbye to the audience and ending the show.
STUDIO DESIGN:
SKETCH OF BACKGROUND
In the background there will be pictures on the wall of inspirational music videos and inspirational artists that helped inspire people around the world, such as Kurt Cobain, Ed Sheeran, Tu-Pac and more. I chose to do this mainly because it fits with the show, since we focus on songs, and artists that inspire other people with their music.VISUAL STYLE:
There will be the two presenters talking directly to the guest and wont always be looking at the camera. When it comes to welcoming the audience and guests, they will be looking at the camera, but when they are actually talking to the guest they wont be looking at the camera.
The cameras will cut a lot when things get more humorous, since they will capture everyone reactions, and will be slowly moving around when it comes to the performances, to make it more relaxing and enjoyable to watch.
